Honeymoon!

Our Honeymoon started out pretty interesting. We get to our hotel dressed in our wedding clothes and Austin tells the front desk our name. They can't find his reservation anywhere. When they did find it, they had his reservation for September 1st... they figured out that their new assistant had accidentally changed the reservation for the wrong day. They sorted it out and handed us our key.
We get to our room, insert the key and we can not get the door open. Insert key, turn door knob, nothing.. insert key, green light goes on, turn door knob.. nothing. We repeated this multiple times. We walk all the way down the hall (Austin's feet are killing him in his tux shoes) and call the front desk and they tell us that sometimes the door gets an air pocket which prevents the door from opening. To solve this problem, they tell us to pull the door towards us and try it.
Round two.. Pull door towards us, insert key, green light goes on, turn knob.. nothing. We were convinced that the door or key was broken. We head back to the elevator and luckily there was a hotel worker standing in the elevator. He and Austin headed back to our room to get the door problem solved and of course the guy opened the door no problem. Apparently you had to turn the key in the lock and open the door. Not just insert and turn the knob. Who would've thought?!
This is the honeymoon package Austin had ordered for us! So Romantic and cute! When we left the hotel, they gave us a room key with our names and wedding date engraved on it!

These strawberries were huge and very juicy!

Headed to Vegas!

Whats a road trip to Vegas without a little pit stop in Mesquite?!

Eureka Casino

We made it! We stayed Saturday and Sunday night at
Bart and Andria's cute condo on Las Vegas Blvd!

First breakfast my cute little husband made!

I begged Austin to take me to Bellagio fountains. We walked there from Fashion Show Mall... It was a LONG and HOT walk there!

Headed to the Port in Long Beach!

Austin was a fun road trip companion! This is a little taste of what I got on the way to Long Beach!

Long Beach greeted us with LOTS of fog..

Austin in our room! Its shocking how small it is at first, but you quickly get use to it!

First stop! Catalina Island!
We loved Catalina, to bad it was raining. It was more of a light mist by the time we got to the island. We took a little boat from the cruise ship to the dock. There were lots of cute shops there and the yummiest caramel apple I've ever had!
Cute "Shopping Girl Socks"!

Austin patiently waiting in the store.

This tiny FedEx truck in Catalina made us laugh! Don't try to send anyone anything to big in Catalina.. they might not get it!

Austin LOVES his soy sauce! We stopped for some Chinese and to get dry.

The Island is so beautiful! I'd love to go again when its really sunny and warm!

Austin all dressed up for formal night on the cruise!

This is us in the cleanest part of Ensenada!

Austin and I felt pretty uncomfortable walking around Ensenada. It was dirty, there were cute little kids begging us for money, more bars lining the streets than shops, and you just get a bad feeling there. Austin said "Ensenada makes Tijuana look like Hawaii!"

We did eat some pretty good authentic tacos though! It was my first "real taco" from a taco stand. I was a little questionable about it when I watched the guy chop up the steak for my taco on a stump of wood that he probably cut the raw meat on. But it was pretty tasty!

Austin got his FIRST coke of the whole cruise in Ensenada. He couldn't bare to pay $5.00 for a can of coke on the boat so he waited to pay $1.50 for one off the boat! He was a pretty happy boy after that!

One night they had a hypnotist on the ship and Austin and I sat on the second row. The hypnotist said that if you wanted to try and be hypnotized and were sitting in the first 3 rows you could. So Austin did.. and it worked. It was hilarious! Austin went under
and I was skeptical if he was really hypnotized. Because if you know Austin, that's just not like him. When the hypnotist came and told Austin to sleep and Austin plowed over into the girl's lap next to him.. I knew he wasn't faking. He ended up taking Austin up on stage and telling him that his hands were super glued together and that he couldn't pull them apart. Everyone was using their shoe to try and get their hands "unglued" but if you know Austin.. then you know he of course didn't use his shoe {To Many Germs for Him!} he just kept trying and trying to pull them apart. His muscles and veins were bulging out of his arms.
The next thing he told them was that they were going to get really really cold and that they could cuddle up with the people next to them to get warmth. Austin just sat there shivering facing the bitter cold. He wasn't about to cuddle up to some stranger for warmth. {Totally like him} But the people next to him weren't afraid to cuddle with him! There was one girl all over Austin trying to get "warm" but he just sat there like a statue shivering.
The hypnotist then told them it was pouring rain on them and to use the people next to them for shelter. Austin must've had to much to drink right before the show because as soon as the "rain" came.. he had to use the bathroom and it woke him up. {For which I'm thankful because It would've been embarassing to claim the guy who peed his pants on stage}.
This guy was Austin's favorite! He got up EVERY NIGHT and sang this song. One night he even got up multiple times and sang it. Needless to say by the last night of the cruise we were all pretty sick of him and this song!

Even Willie Nelson was at Karaoke Night!

Headed to back to Vegas!
We'd been up since 7 am to get off the boat on time when they called our floor to leave!

CUTE! CUTE! CUTE!
It looks like you guys had fun. I had no idea we had the exact same honeymoon, down to the fog driving to Cali! Adorable pictures and I especially loved Austin's rap! Wish you would have gotten some video of the hypnotism though! You've got wonderful pictures and memories now!
