Austin is germaphobic. {With some things} He will pick up a piece of gum that has fallen onto the ground of the mall parking lot and eat it but he will not walk around barefoot. He is wearing shoes 90% of the time to avoid germs at all cost and you will never catch him sitting on the floor.
So in OUR room at the cruise, Austin would always be wearing his flip flops. The floor of our bathroom was lined with towels so that he didn't have to step barefoot onto the floor and he would leave his flip flops right outside the bathroom door so he could step right into them when he got out. He would even do this on the side of the bed so he could step into them in the morning and walk 5 steps to the bathroom! It made me laugh every time he did it! I sure do love him and his weirdness!
